The Biggs Lab Presents New Research at the 28th European Society for Biomaterials Meeting in Athens
The 28th Meeting of the European Society for Biomaterials took place in Athens Greece. This three day meeting ran from the 4th to the 8th of September and brought together more than 1200 participants from all over the world, representing varying fields of materials and biomaterials science. Dr Biggs gave a podium presentation on his research entitled "Mesenchymal Stem Cell Responses to Electron-Beam Modified Elastomeric Surfaces Presenting Micron to Nanoscale Heterogeneous Rigidity". Also in attendance was Marc Fernandez (Pictured) who spoke on his recent breakthroughs in elucidating the effect of electromechanical stimulation on tendon regeneration.
