Marc Fernandez Presents New Research From The Biggs Lab at the 8th World Congress of Biomechanics in

Marc Fernandez presented the most recent research advances from the Biggs lab in the form of two podium talks, “Cellular Responses to Electron-Beam Modified Elastomeric Surfaces Presenting Micron to Nanoscale Heterogeneous Rigidity", and “Piezoelectric Scaffolds: Tendon Repair Through Electromechanical Stimulation” at the 8th world Congress of Biomechanics in Dublin, Ireland (8-12 July, 2018). The World Congress of Biomechanics is held once every 4 years and is the premier meeting worldwide in its field. The field of biomechanics sits at the interface of engineering and medicine and research in the field has revolutionisedmedicine, particularly in the area of medical devices.
