Alex Trotier and James Britton Receive Awards at TERMIS EU Meeting in Rhodes
The TERMIS-EU 2019 meeting was held from the 27th to the 31st of May 2019 at Rhodes, Greece. The theme of TERMIS this year was ‘Tissue Engineering Therapies: From concept to clinical translation and commercialisation’. The meeting is highly important to scientists, clinicians and industries interested in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine therapies that aspire to revolutionise healthcare with their reparative capacity. This year, Alex Trotier was awarded the RSC Biomaterials Science Best Podium Presentation for his talk on the development of a mechanical model of gliosis. James Britton received a debate award for his winning stance on 'This House believes that unblinded peer-review will result in good science'.
